A proud Cincinnati native who developed an interest in immigrant and refugee health through her experiences in Central America and various organizations within the city. She works with the Health Department to continue her work with this population In her free time she loves to draw, knit, cook, eat, and Zumba!
Jeffery Murphy- University of Cincinnati

After a few career twists and turns, including high school teacher, parks & recreation manager, and firefighter he is thrilled to have completed his training at TCH/UC FM. He uses the skills he honed to work in a full scope of family medicine office within the Christ system. In his spare time, you’ll find him working occasional shifts as a part-time firefighter, walking his pitbull and rescue Guatemalan street dog, or playing music.

Will continue to work in Cincinnati and training at UC in the geriatrics fellowship. She remains dedicated to vulnerable populations her future practice will encompass a bit of everything. In her free time, she loves morning runs, hikes through the city’s hilly forests, whipping up new recipes, and exploring Cincinnati’s hidden gems with friends and family.

Angela Adams-Harrison- Wright State

Happy to be "walking in her calling", Dr. Adams-Harrison says her favorite part about working at Rocking Horse Community Health Center is taking care of people in need. Her professional interests include caring for the underserved, preventative education, and Global Health in Haiti. She enjoys family, traveling (cruising), cooking, crocheting, reading and singing with her church praise team in her spare time.
Eleanor Glass- University of Cincinnati

Currently the Chief Medical Office and Co-founder of Integrative Family Care of Cincinnati a Direct Primary Care clinic. She maintains a faculty position in the residency to focus on Quality Improvement in the FMC, especially in EMR training and Practice Management. Both of these efforts are part of an overall goal to reduce burnout in family medicine, to help us return to our roots as independent physicians who can respond to the needs of our community.
She also maintains an active acupuncture practice, and enjoys learning more about integrative medicine, procedures, women's health, and anything outdoors that has nothing to do with medicine.

Shanna Stryker - Wright State
Class of 2018
Shanna (she/her) graduated from the Family Medicine-Psychiatry residency in 2018 and was the first fellow in Global Health Faculty Development from 2018-2020. In fellowship she earned an MPH, studied depression in Guatemala, and provided care to Cincinnati immigrants/refugees. She is now on our faculty and provides psychiatric and primary care at a local FQHC to neighbors in Walnut Hills, regional LGBTQ+ folx and people living with HIV. She also does community-based participatory action research and teaches early-career primary care fellows about mental health integration into primary care. She remains involved in the Department's partnerships in Guatemala and Tanzania.

Is staying in Cincinnati and continuing to work for the UC Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. We spends time as an inpatient psychiatry consultant, as well as doing primary care at University Health Services and Talbert House.
Kristen Koch- Chief Resident - U of Louisville
Class of 2018
Continues to grow her Cincinnati routes. After a brief detour to Ohio State for undergrad and University of Louisville for medical school she was thrilled returned to Cincinnati for residency. She has accepted a position to stay in the Christ family and will work in the outpatient office in Norwood. In her free time she can be found atop a mountain somewhere in Tennessee in off-road vehicles, covered in mud, curled up with a crafting project, or catching up on my Netflix.
Mary Cairns- Medical College of Wisconsin

An FMP graduate, Mary splits her time between the US and Cameroon. At the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center she works in C/L Psychiatry, medical urgent care as well as inpatient psychiatry and PES service. At Banso Hospital in Kumbo, Cameroon she practices on the inpatient medical ward as well as helping to coordinate the outpatient mental health services. She stays active in the residency and several residents have rotated in Cameroon with her.
Tyler (Kip) Drewry- Wayne State University

From Michigan and attended he University of Michigan where he studied Brain, Behavior, and Cognitive Science. Will be attending the Sports Medicine Fellowship at TriHealth. While in residency he enjoyed the mix of academic rigor tied to a university program within a community hospital. His hobbies include playing hockey, softball, biking, running, weight-lifting, playing video games and watching movies.
Anisa Shomo, MD- Ohio State University COM

Anisa is a board certified Geriatrician in addition to Family Medicine. She splits her time between working at the University of Cincinnati and in Haiti. She staffs 2 clinics for the Cincinnati Health Department. One is located inside of Riverview East Academy. It is part of the School Based Health Division and it is a longitudinal clinic site for the residency. The other is a traditional FQHC model. She practice Family Medicine and Geriatrics at both locations. In Haiti, she helps to manage the pediatric, adult medicine, and Gyn outpatient clinics in addition to the inpatient service. She is also an avid runner and past ambassador of Black Girls Run! Cincinnati Chapter.
Brian Cairns- Ohio State University College of Medicine

Brian spends his time in both Ohio and Cameroon. At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center he works on inpatient, emergency, and consult psychiatry as well as urgent medical care. In Cameroon he spends some of his times on the inpatient wards and helps Mary (his wife) to coordinate outpatient mental health services.
